We
would like to thank all of you so much for your overwhelming comments of
support regarding the future of The Orchards Mall.Although it has never been a question as to if
the mall will remain open, we felt compelled to send a letter to the editor
clearing up some local concerns of the possibility of closing.With that said, we assure you our
doors have been open for 30 years, and will remain open for many more to come. We continue to offer a full service
restaurant, 4 food court vendors, 3 anchor stores along with 34 additional
retail and service stores.
Security
National Properties owns The Orchards Mall which includes the JCPenney and
Elder-Beerman stores. They do not own
the Sears building and had no roll in the unfortunate decision to close this store.
We ask that you understand the Mall is
NOT responsible for the closing of Sears and we will miss them dearly.
